Drug Uses

Lukol is an oral drug used for the treatment of non-specific leucorrhoea, malaise and backache associated with leucorrhea and pelvic inflammatory disease.

How it is taken

Lukol can be taken by mouth with or without food. The initial dosage is 2 tablets twice daily followed by one tablet twice daily.

Drug Class & Mechanism

Lukol stimulates the endometrium and improves uterine circulation. It has antimicrobial and astringent which help control leucorrhea. It also helps control white discharge.

Missed Dosage

If you miss a dose of Lukol and are on a regular dosage then you may take it as soon as you remember and adjust the remaining doses accordingly. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose then you may skip this dose and continue with the regular dosage. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Storage

Store it at room temperature (between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C) in an air tight container protecting it from direct exposure to light, heat and moisture. Keep away from pets and children.

There are no known warnings or precautions for Lukol usage.

Possible Side Effects

Lukol is not known to have any side effects if taken as per the prescribed dosage.
